Stone Carlie Supports Tech Startups via ITEN Sponsorship

ST LOUIS (May 1, 2014) One of St. Louis’ top local accounting firms Stone Carlie announced today a sponsorship commitment to support St. Louis-based ITEN (www.itenstl.org). Beginning immediately, Stone Carlie will provide tax and accounting services to ITEN as well as selected ITEN startup tech companies. Several Stone Carlie clients, including entrepreneurial success stories FoodEssentials, Aisle 411, Rovertown, Pixel Press, and Evtron, are graduates of ITEN’s Mock Angel program.

“We are thrilled to continue our support of the tremendous work of ITEN and the critical role it plays within the local startup technology community,” Marie Carlie, Senior Member of Stone Carlie said. “We feel so fortunate to work with these amazing people and the vibrancy of the startup community in St. Louis including organizations like ITEN is helping raise the whole ecosystem.”

“Stone Carlie is the most active and well respected accounting firm in the St. Louis startup ecosystem,” Jim Brasunas founder and executive director of ITEN said. “They are an innovative and very pro-active company, working on pro bono or reduced rate arrangements with many of the local tech startups that are gaining great traction. Stone Carlie has always been very supportive of the organizations, like ITEN, that work with the startups as well.”
