November 13th, 3:00pm until 8:00pm Our guest speaker on November 13th is Ryan Bell, Co-Founder and CEO of Gremln. Gremln is a dynamic social media management and compliance platform, focusing primarily on the financial services industry. Gremln is a great company coming out of the St. Louis ecosystem, being a 2011 graduate of ITEN’s Mock Angel program, a graduate of Capital Innovators Accelerator, and most recently participating in the SixThirty FinTech accelerator. They have won numerous awards and recognitions from industry groups.
November 13th will be our first 2nd Thursday at Venture Cafe, at CIC, @4240, and we’ll be adding additional programming and new ways for the community to connect. Our guest speaker will begin about 4:00pm, but keep an eye on this space for info about what else will be going on at 2nd Thursday!
2nd Thursday is a monthly event series connecting entrepreneurs and emerging tech companies with veteran business leaders, investors and the public. 1 Million Cups (1MC) is a simple way to engage entrepreneurs in communities around the world; over 30 cities now host 1MC every Wednesday. Each week, local entrepreneurs have an opportunity to present their startups to an audience of other entrepreneurs and the interested public. Presenters give a 10 minute overview of their new venture and then engage the public in 20 minutes of give and take questioning and suggestions, seeking ways that the local community can help the venture be successful.
